Data Management and Security

The app collects, uses, and shares personal and sensitive user data as described below:

Types of Data Collected: We collect personal data including, but not limited to, name, email address, and location data. Sensitive data may include geolocation and device information.
Use of Data: Data collected is used to facilitate user interaction within the app and enhance user experience.
Data Sharing: We do not share data with any third parties.
Data Security: Robust encryption and security measures are in place to protect user data from unauthorised access and breaches.
Data Retention and Deletion: Data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. Users may request data deletion by following the instructions below.

Account Deletion

We understand that circumstances change, and you may need to delete your account, so you can follow the steps below to delete your NZSTI account.

Steps to Request Account Deletion

  • Login to the NZSTI app.
  • Select “User Settings” from the app menu
  • Select “Contact Us”
  • On the message screen, enter “Delete Account” into the subject line.
  • You can add write additional free text into the Message field
  • Press “Send” 
  • Your account deletion request has now been submitted.

Data Deletion Details

When you request to delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:

Personal Information: Name, email address, contact information, and any other personal details. 

Usage Data: Preferences, and other account details associated with your account.
